The Team

Antwan Martin

I have personally witnessed the devastating effects of addiction within my own family. The destructive power of addiction tore my mother away from my sister and me, leaving us to endure its painful consequences. Addiction is an affliction that affects the entire family unit, and my mother bravely fought her battle and turned her life around through the path of recovery.

During a significant portion of my childhood, my mother struggled with alcohol and drug addiction, resulting in the authorities removing my sister and me from her custody. However, in 1988, she found the strength to conquer her demons and rebuild her life. Since then, she has remained steadfast in her recovery, never returning to the destructive lifestyle she once led.

My mother nurtured a deep desire to help others who suffer from this formidable disease. Witnessing her remarkable journey and feeling a profound sense of pride in her accomplishments, I was inspired to establish “Your Precious Dreams.” It is a company founded on the belief that my mother’s own realization of the value and preciousness of her dream to overcome addiction and be there for her family can be a source of hope and inspiration for others.

The scourge of drug addiction is an unfortunate reality in our society, and it is all too easy for individuals to fall victim to its destructive grip, causing immeasurable pain and sorrow. However, amidst the darkness, there is always hope. If you or someone you know and love is currently grappling with the devastating effects of addiction, we are here to extend our support and provide the necessary guidance to help them reclaim their lives and rediscover the significance of their precious dreams.

Debra Martin

I believe that I was born with the disease of addiction, which has caused immense suffering for 28 years. Regrettably, my oldest son and daughter have also been deeply affected and subjected to harm and abuse as a result of my addiction.

My inability to protect them led me down a path of demoralization, self-hatred, and utter defeat. However, at the age of 28, with three children and bearing emotional scars, I discovered a transformative 12-step program. This program enabled me to learn self-love and become the nurturing mother I had only ever dreamt of being.

Continuing on my journey of living a life free from drugs and alcohol, I have witnessed the miraculous transformation of my son, Antwan Martin. Through the grace of Almighty God and my unwavering commitment, we have established “Your Precious Dreams” and “Cleveland Sober Living for Women.” We firmly believe that there is a way out of the darkness, and we are dedicated to helping others rediscover their dreams and achieve what may currently seem impossible.

Recovery is not only attainable but also accessible to each and every one of us. We are here to provide the support and guidance needed to embark on this healing journey and find renewed hope.
